Default intake mainfold

well i busted my hand a while ago and sprained my wrist so havent been able to do throttle bodies as im not risking my arm. So decided to mod the intake mainfold but my sawzall burned out and ran out of money so started to do what im most sick of and that is rust/ corrosion. I work with blood and draw blood from people at the hospital and that doesnt even come close to how I feel about rust. I feel comfortable sanding and polishing the intake so that what I am doing for a bit today before work tonight. My question is what do I use as a protectant agent to keep the aluminum clean as these get way more hot than the throttle bodies

You have to coat it with something or it will look bad quickly since aluminum oxidizes so quickly. A clear coat or something woulld probably be the way to go unless you plan on polishing it regularly.
