Default Lowering 3/4, wider tires and Wheels Backspacing

Hi Guys. I am looking to install a Belltech 3 / 4 inch drop on my truck. I am also looking at changing the wheels and tires. I want to keep everything inside the fenders.

I currently have a set of 16x7 factory steelies with 5" backspacing and 265/70 16 tires (30.6 x 10.6). I am looking to go with a set of Stockon Rally Wheels at 16x8 and 285/70 16 tires (31.7 x 11.22).

Question is should I go with 5.5" backspacing to keep factory offset or 6" backspacing to push it all inward. What will work best with the drop?

I don't want any rubbing at all.

Thanks, Jeff

You might just want to post this over on DT in the lowered 2nd gen section. Not many lowered fans in the 2nd gen Ram section here at DF.
