Question Header leak-remflex#rf6004

Has any one here used the remflex#rf6004 header Gasket? If so how well did they work. I'm having one hell of a time with my Edelbrock headers leaking. Changed the Gaskets 3 times and after a week or two they start leaking again. I also need to find good header Bolts. Any input on them?

I've heard those are the bet gaskets and you want to use stage 8 bolts, IIRC.

IS that a name bread of the bolt? Or could U send a link. I would like to buy both at the same time if I can. They say it's going to be warm next week so I need to order the parts now so they will be here on time for the nice weather

Yes, that's the name. Go to Summit or Jegs. They will have them.

Make sure whatever gasket you use is a metal one, or else it will blow away on you.

If there is a good parts shop in your area, you should be able to get a gasket locally.

I think that the gaskets have been the same sine these engines were created in the 60's.

I have the stage 8 bolts and remflex header gaskets and just waiting for it to warm up to install my new headers. The gaskets are cheapest on Amazon.Neither are cheap but hopefully they will be dependable for a long while.

Well, I just placed my order for the gaskets. I found them for 32.99 + 7.99 shipping. Will give a update after I have them installed.
