Default 96 ram 1500 4x4 track bar

I baught my truck last May,it needed a track bar,no big deal easy to replace, good thing because I have replaced it twice and now needs another.I t always goes at the tie rod end, gets sloppy and the body moves before the wheels turn. What is the need for the tie rod end,is there axle roll?If not I am thinking of fabricating my own and put bushings on both ends. What do you think?

go to top gun customz and order thier track bar and brackket its a little pricey but it eleminates the tie rod end and uses a heim joint end, plus the bracket is way stronger. and mine only took about 3 hrs to install.

oh yea its also adjustable for 4"-8" of lift

That won't help unless he has 4-8"s of lift. Thuren makes one for 0-3"s and there is also this http://www.vulcanperformance.com/Luk...grade-p/ll.htm
