Default parking lights wont turn off

I have 99 dodge ram 5.9l 4x4 quad cab. As of today the parking lights won't turn off. Not even pulling fuses will turn them off. The right turn signal is not working either. Can someone point me in some troubleshooting directions or even a possible solution. It's kind of embarrassing to take off the negative battery cable every time i park.

I have pulled the headlights switch and they still stay on so that rules that out.

that is not too bad. you should try stalling your truck to turn it of, roll down your window to open the door using the outside door handle on both doors and then disconnecting the battery. that is how my dads ford was for a couple of months.

if they are staying on when you pull that black box you most likely have a wiring problem. you should probably looking for some burnt or melted wires.

Yep, go to the FAQ section and download the factory service manual for tracing wires.

*** fixed *** whoever wired up the trailer harness before me was either drunk or crazy. There was wires touching and literally melted and fused together. I rewired and all is well.

Side question.: my truck has factory fog lamps, in the wiring t behind the headlights switch there are 3 plugs 2 small 2 wire plugs and 1 large multi wire plug. It's obvious where the multiwire plug goes but as far as the other two which do I plug in there is only a spot for one of them.
