quad cab door/driver side
Hi all,
Well this is what I have got going with my 2001 ram 1500 quad cab, 2WD, 5.2 litre 318.
The quad door or the "half" door on the drivers side shuts ,but not completely like it should. The top latch works like it's supposed to, but the bottom latch does not return at all. Unlike, on the passenger side both top and bottom latches work at the same time when either door handle is used like it should. . I'm almost set to remove the quad door panel to see what's going on inside. Thought i'd check here first to see if anyone knows of a fix for the above or more.

Wrong section but I will try to help. If it were my I would certainly check the latch for proper mechanics and replace as needed. Pulling the door skin may help but it sounds like you just have a bad latch.
