Anyone hang out on Jeep forums? See plenum threads there?

Oh yeah...ALL the same issues, just a different brand. Plenums, cracked heads, stalling/starting issues.....on and on.
Had to do a quick motor swap before plow season last fall. Found a 5.2 with 60k out of a wrecked Jeep GC.
Plenum was blown big time....worse than my original motor that had over 145k. Feeding it oil until the snow is gone, then will fix 'er up. Runs great otherwise for a JY motor.

I frequent the ZJ section (93-98 Grand Cherokee) on Jeep Forum. Yes, the plenum gasket is a commonly discussed issue. Most of the guys aren't nearly as well in tune with the repair as the guys here though (most Jeep owners aren't very bright).
I'm in the process of replacing the timing chain, plenum plate and gasket on my buddy's 93 ZJ with the 5.2. The gasket wasn't visibly blown but there was a LOT of oil in the intake from the plate being warped.
