Default V10 Exhaust Question

i have a 99 ram 2500 v10 extended cab 4x4 and i want to put dual exhaust on it. i looked under it and saw that it already has true dual exhaust to the muffler then comes out as one pipe. what i want to do is leave the cats on and just cut the muffler off and run two 3" pipes from the cats out at 45's under the bumper into two 4 1/2" tips. i figured if i cut the muffler off and bring it to the exhaust shop it wouldnt cost much to just bend a couple pipes over the axle. my question is will this be too loud? i dont want it crazy loud just a deep tone what do you guys think?

It will sound like 2 rice grinders stuck in a snowbank. Better off to go with a big single.

i did that to mine and it sounded quite terriable, wasnt too loud just sounded like crap, but a true dual with flowmasters and an H pipe, had a decent tone to it, its no v-8 sound but a lot of people liked it

That's what I have
Flowmaster 40 then dual pipes out
has low growl but it won't sound like the v-8
