Default Front end clunk

Hey guys, I've got a confusing front end clunk that I can't quite figure out.

Here's the deal, I notice it from a dead stop when I step on the gas, and also when I brake and the truck comes to a complete stop. I feel it in the steering wheel, there's no sound. Steering feels tight and there's no death wobble.

Any ideas?

I'll look into that. I checked the rear shaft u-joints, but didn't do the front yet.

Our 1999 2500 4X4 had a clunk in the front end that turned out to be a bushing on the right side upper control arm that was dry and responded to a shot of silicone spray. Helped for about 6 months at a time - it's easy to hit all of them with silicone and see if that's your problem. Others here have had clunks that turned out to be loose shock bolts or bad trackbar bushings. I know how difficult it is to find a clunk like yours - took quite a few months for me to find what the problem was on ours.
