i found a pair of full length headers on summit racing for 120$. is it worth it? just lookin for somethin to replace stock.

 

full length,, long tubes,, for a 120 bucks, those got to be for the trucks that have the LA series motors.... pre 94 body style

since we have the magnum 318s would the ones i want not bolt up correctly?

5.2L and 5.9L are interchangeable. Magnum and LA are interchangeable.

The problem in this particular case is how the headers are run. LA motors use motor mounts at the front of the block and therefore the headers can run down the middle of the side of the block as the summit ones do. The Magnum engine uses middle motor mounts (LA bosses are on magnum block though) so the LA header has tubes trying to occupy the same area as the motor mount.
