Default Installing leveling kit, what tire size should I get for my 1500 4x4?

I know this question has been asked many times before, but Im going to ask it again I have a 2nd Gen 2000 Ram 1500 Sport 4x4, Its time for new tires this spring so I decided I would install the 2" leveling kit to gain more clearance in the front.

Anyone know what size tires I can install on the stock 16x7 Rims? The manufacture states I can use 33" tires but I do not know how to compare them to the stock P265/75R16 numbers.

unless you have offset rims 275 75 r16s are max, i have 265s on mine and they rub under the right conditions.

i would find a nice 33'' tire, give you more ground clearance but wont take away too much power.

i have a 97 sport with a 2 inch leveling kit and 35's and they barely rub at all unless your flexing out alot you should be fine with 35's.

i have 35's too but my truck is a dog even with all the modds ive done, thats why im switching to 33's when the time comes. theres only a 1'' difference in height, but there is a significant difference in weight.

I am running 33" maxxis buckshots on my truck on stock wheels AND LOVE THEM! BUT i have a 6" lift so the are just a little small by my personal preference. With just a 2" lift i think the 33" tires (285x75x16) Would be great!
