Angry Bolts?

Yeah, I didn't think they'd be this hard to find either. Replaced tie rods, drag link and steering stabilizer. The new steering shock didn't come with any hardware. So I'll re-use the OEM bracket to mount the steering stabilizer to the center link, but I need two new bolts to connect it to the chassis bracket and the center link bracket.

Where can I get 'em? I've tried local hardware stores, O'Reilly's, Auto Zone, Napa, and Advance.

Check lmc, I know they sell suspension bolts but I'm not sure if they sell those.

I'm not sure what type of bolt you are looking for but you are not too far from me. Lowes carries Grade 8's up to 1/2 inch diameter. If not there try a company in Cleveland called Fastenal 5537 Canal Road, Cleveland - (216) 642-4220. Another company in Cleveland you can try is Tru-Har 15531 NEO Parkway, Cleveland, 216-662-8250

I'm sure you can use grade 8's for one end and look in the HELP section at your local parts store and see if they have a shock bolt of the same diameter and length that will work for the other.

Alright, thanks guys. I'll give those suggestions a run. Just aggravating that after a big project with no hitches, you run into a two-bolt problem...lol.

These guys have a location in Aurora, OH also - I've bought from them before, great service:

http://www.mcmaster.com/

Not sure if they have the exact bolt you need but worth a try (over 480,000 products in their catalog). Click on "contact us" then the "Cleveland" tab.
