I have a 1998 Dodge quad cab 4x4 that has 150545 miles on it . Going home tonight the gauges stopped working , the abs , air bag , and low fuel light comes on and the odometer is flashing on and off . I know this is not going to be my answer but Im hoping there is a re-program button somewhere that will fix this ............LOL . If anyone has heard of this before I would love to hear from you .

the only thing i can think of is that maybe the fuse broke on its own and maybe its just barrly touching. I would try replacing the fuse first.

 

Just read your post. My 2001 did this and a couple times but the truck ran fine............then a short time later it would start but not stay running. Turns out it was one of the computers (PCM I think). Since this one also controlled emissions functions, dealer replaced it free of charge. Hope everything goes well.
