my custom interior
Hey 95BIGRED,I appoligize if I sounded like a *****. I was just saying what I thought so that you know what others thought. That is why you posted it your thread, right? Just curious, why would you spend that much money on such a nice gauge cluster and half *** it on painting your trim?
Gauge Cluster = AWESOME!!!
Nice find, that's huge! As for the paint... hmm. Cool idea actually! I wouldn't have painted the fabric with krylon spray paint. I would've used some OEM dye and sprayed it like black or maybe even red from the earlier 2nd gen years.
Look dude here is the thing. Was it the best idea? No, probably not. However, YOU came up with the idea and YOU did it! I give you props for doing something your style! That's the beauty of this site, we may all have different opinions, but in the end it is about us doing what we want. And that's what makes every truck on here special and unique.

I like the concept, red and blck is sick. I love custom interiors, just gotta do it right. If I had done it, I would have removed the armrest panel, removed material, wet sanded, primed and paintd. Would come out show quality that waay aand still be a diy project. I would do the same to the face of the door pockets as well. Your other option is to get red crpet or another style of red material and rewrap them.
You have already started so dig you heels in and do it right, then people will be more impresssed with your labor of love.

I think it looks cool. Very original. I'm actually in the process of blacking out most of the interior. It will be a black/dark grey. Cant stand the beige. I bought actual spraypaint meant for fabric so I could do the armrests, and maybe the seat centers. Oh and the visors.
Umm cluster pretty nice, behind the front seats looks good, the front doors not sure what you were thinking, and dash just aint working.
And then the camo seat covers and mats seems to me like it was halfed ***, which seems like alot of work to waste time on, IMO it would look better if you chose one or another

Looks awesome man! I dont care what anyone else says looks tight and i think you did a great job. I did the same thing on a larger scale. Yours looks better than mine but i was just trying to cover up some really damaged interior. It will also look better when i paint the wood trim looking peices black.
