Default Cheap Cold Air Intake

I was looking around ebay when I came across an exact replica of the Spectre Cold Air Intake for our Rams, except this kit is about $100 cheaper than the retail price at most parts stores. All you really have to do is swap the kit filter with a better quality 4" K&N or Spectre filter.

What do you guys think.

There is a thread about it some where but Im too lazy to look for it. A member here discovered that the first kits that were made I think before december of last year have a problem with the air hat. the airhats themselves were blocking the truck from hitting WOT. Spectre had to redesign the airhat with a notch in it so the linkage assembley could open all the way.Name: photo1.jpg

I just contacted Spectre Performance and after a couple of questions about the motor and my address they replaced it free of charge.

Ah I found the thread! Thanks a lot I knew my truck wasnt WOT but didnt pay any attention to it. I wonder if someone ever got the throttle stuck open due to hitting that thing? That would be a nice law suite lol
