DOes the 5.9L in the 97's not have alot of pick up when u punch the gas at 30? i test drove the truck im going to buy today, and when i punched it at 30, the speed just increased as if i were accelorating normally. would it being a 4 wheel drive do this? cuz i never checked to see if it was in 4high or 4 low...i just got in and went

 

my bros gotta 97 2wd and it will scare u when u punch it at 30-45mph. then again it does have a holley carb. that may be why. but hemi's get no respect from it.

it might have been in high but i think low is too low for that speed. it would have been screaming! its just a good truck.
