Does a tbi spacer really make any difference?

No I didn't...
They don't do anything on a M1 intake either, which has a small plenum compared to a kegger. Infact, most of the guys whom installed a nitrous plate on an M1 were getting the tops of the intakes milled the thickness of the plate to stay at the stock plenum volumn...Go figure.
EDIT: Thought I would also add, one reason people flock to the turtle is takes up plenum volumn.
