The doors on my 96 ram extended cab were totally rusted out so I went to the jyard and found a 98 ram sport quad cab with perfect doors, I didnt think twice to grab them. Of course now I realize the 98+ doors dont fit on my 96. Has anyone ever modified 98+ doors to fit the earlier club cab models? It looks like I could just take a little off the bottom and top edge and it will close. Any ideas? thanks.

 

The problem is u got them off a quad cab. The Quad cab doors are different then the extended cab. That's the real problem

 

So lets try to clearify things. I heard different and want to really know what doors I can use. I've been told that the quad cab doors fit on regular cab trucks. Anyone have pictures of a door from a quad cab and standard cab?

 

Quad Cab doors only fit on Quad Cabs. Club Cabs and Regular Cabs use the same doors.

 

I ended up getting the quad cab doors on my extended cab fairly easily. All I had to do was round the bottom corner of the door and trim the top edge off a little and it fits nice. If you take your time and tape off the curve of the door, it comes out really good.
