cat question

Default cat question

what are some option for clogged cats. i've been thinking just cutting it off put some spark plug non foulers and put some flex pipe up there till i get money for my new exhaust.

You could gut it out like I did; a little more difficult than just cutting it off, but it will leave what looks like a cat there (which passes emissions in my area).

The dude has a "race motor", but doesn't know what to do with a CC?

zman i took the race motor out of my truck and put a stock 318 in it cause that thing wasn't what i expected but no i don't know what to the cat. i have an idea cut the dang thing off and chunk it as far as you can

just remeber you have to pipes leading into the cc and 1 out. its going to take a little fabrication but you can get it done. or just gut it like im going to.

or just get a highflow cat and be good for 80 bucks . safer for mother earth and a lil more low end grunt ! and louder !

well i am going to buy some 3 in. pipe and run it as dual exhaust with high flow mufflers. fabricate it all myself. cause i don't like none of the kits i've seen
