Default factory alarm

I have a small indicator attached to the dash with alarm and valay. I have found the box under the dash with the sensor. I runs off a key fob.
The guy I got the tuck from has really destroyed the fob.

Can it just be unplugged???
This box keeps the truck from starting if you dont hit the fob button.

So like the fob has to be near that box for the truck to start? I don't think that is a factory thing, it's probably wired into the ignition circuit somehow. I doubt you can just unplug it, you probably need to figure out what circuit it is tapped into and you would have to bypass it.

I have a similar thing in my truck. Mine has a red blinking light. Does you truck flip **** if you unlock your truck just with the key?

Colorado that is it. The fob has an unlock button. I can push the button on the dash to valay and it goes green. It is a dealer part because it has the logo on it.

I found the box today and just unplugged the dash part. It was part of the box that runs the door locks. Starts with out the fob being used.
