Default Throttle Body HP gains

Hey what are some people getting for horsepower gains from going to the stock 48mm to a 50mm or a 52mm?

none, notta.. absolutely zero unless you are speaking of the absolute top end, but then you'll hafta toss rev limiter in the discussion..

a bigger TB allows more air in faster.. that is all.. your throttle response will improve, meaning your foot won't move as far to let the same amount of air into the intake..

this is a good thing, depending on what your aim is, but a bigger TB isn't going to increase anything.. except allow more air in faster..

What it really does is open the door to other mods.

i agree with everyone else. The tb is a supporting mod match it with a good intake kit and free flowing exhaust , cat, headers and you will feel a good little bump. i have ran the stock 48mm the modded 50mm and now a fastman 52mm the 50mm was great for low end i did notice the 52 seemed to lose a little at the bottom not sure how but it might just be in my mind.
