lookin at a 99 1500 with 143K 318, auto, anyone know of any common problems, or things i should be looking into? the only thing im really concerned about drive train wise is the 46re trans, heard their hit and miss. and their problem is they dont flow fluid well so they get hot real fast????

its a sport model is that kinda like chevys z71 package? limited slip rear, skid plates etc...

 

Welcome to the forums. There are a bunch of things to look for. If you have taken it for a drive, see how it shifts, are there any noises that sound out of place? How does it idle? does it surge?

As for the sport. I believe it's just a trim package and not much more.

 

sport model should have color matched front bumper,grille, and I believe taillights.
