Are you talking about the ones in the door? there isnt one there just tweakers

I thought the amps were on the back of the speakers?

I dont think so. I'm not one hundred percent sure but the couple times ive have my door panel off there is just wires nothing fancy.

Is there no amp to power those speakers, other than the head unit of the stereo?

I believe the only power source is the stereo.

Yes there is an amp powering the infinity speakers... if you have the 6x9s in the door then the amp is actually attached to the back of the speaker.

The amps are mounted on the speakers individually.

I replaced all the speakers in mt truck yesterday and the front speaker wires were fairly easy to figure out but I couldn't figure out the rear wires so I ended up just running new wire to the rear speakers.
