Thats really obnoxious and loud in the cab, plus id lose back pressure... BUT, I still like the sound of no muffler, and to all you other guys, you just opened up a lot more doors to performance through exhaust, I really appreciate it.

read up on it ...i bet there are more than 10000 articles on performance engine building you could find on the internet

i do like putting aftermarket exhaust on my truck mainly for the sound though...and i do the silly aftermarkets like k&ns underdrive pulleys ...gears would make a big difference though
Well ive got 4.88 gears on there way and heads are after that, but im leavin cam out for now.. so does that help you to provide me more advice? haha .

i have straight piped to a cherrybomb and i have felt more power from when it was stock set up, it was loud at first with the straight pipe but i got used to it after a week it just might be too loud for people who dont drive in it, if you went with the straight pipe would you have to go through any emmisons test, or would you still keep the cat with no muffler? wither way they sound nice

i hate the sound of cherrybomb glasspacks. my dad has true duels on his 96 with a 318 and it is way to loud especially when its being revved out. not a fan at all.

one you could consider is the SLP loudmouth I my buddy has it on his 2003 ram it has the hemi and that thing is loud as hell. its straight through like you want and it is basically a piece of pipe with the word slp stamped in it

i like the sound of the cherrybomb but there are a lot more mufflers and set ups that sound a hell of a lot better, i just didnt want to put a expensive set up on my truck, witch is almost 20 years old, if i had a newer truck i would have a lot better set up.
