Best way to hollow CAT without welding anything
i got everything out....i banged on the cat, and theres no more rattling, but in the process of blowing out the chunks from exhaust my harmonic balancer **** the bed....
Truck is going bye bye very soon

Sounds like you may have been reving it a bit harder than usual with that free flowing exhaust.. they sound bad a$$ will the cat cleaned out and no exhaust but would be annoying on the highway.. at least mine was when I tried it for a short road trip to the muffler shop.. LOL
i have a cherry bomb muffler, and the cat is hollow all the way, but i havent been able to test it cuz of the stupid harmonic balancer....sounds better, and the revs were much cleaner....i tapped it a little and it went right to 4K rpms....didnt go higher then that, i kept revving it to about 3-3500 rpms, only got to 4k twice...so i dont think thats over revving it, if it is then this truck is a *****
i dont really care for my truck anymore....i have a footprint sized dent in the door now, and the way i crcked the bolt on the harmonic balancer was put my 3/4 in breaker bar to it and wedge it, and i cranked the truck over, and it spun the bolt right out....i banged the bumper with a hammer a few times, wacked the side of the truck with my threaded rod......im not to pleased with my truck...im seriously so sick of it, i just dont want it anymore....ill try my luck with chevy
