Well then...shes fixed....

CAT is hollowed out...my 02 sensor looked real clean, has a light white layer on it that wiped right off....New Harmonic Balancer....

BUT of course in the process, i broke my air box, so i cant put on the piece that goes to the fender, and with the harmonic balancer off i was able to see the timing chain a little bit, and shes loose....And i have a pretty good exhaust leak where i cut the pipe and put an adaptor on it....

All in all the idle is alot cleaner, doesnt have a single stumble...has more power i can tell...seems like i lost a little bit of my low end power, but people said i would....but the truck does get up to speed alot faster, and i can tell its breathing alot better.....well $118 later the truck is fixed, and running alot better....the exhuast leak is what bothers me....get that welded tomorrow i hope.

its 9:30 here, i have to wake up at 5am for work, and im to lazy to post pics....ill post those tomorrow.

I see alot of these " I want to blow my dodge up" threads on here latetly lol

Must be a Chrysler thing. My 98 Grand cherokee 5.9 needs lots of repairs, and it seems everytime i get the money to do it im always short another $60 because i had to fill up on gas lol. I need to swap out my NP249 transfercase with a NP242 because the viscous coupler in my 249 is bad causing binding and wearing out my front tires. However its going to cost me like $450 to buy the case and have a shop install it, then probably $150 to shorten my drive shaft if it doesnt fit. Then i need to have my rear differential checked because its making noises above 60mph..

Transmission is working fine, but has a shudder when shifting to overdrive, but hey at least the engine works great and i have no rust.. Once i get these 2 major things fixed i hope the transmission will last me at least a few years or more. So far it hasnt let me down in the last 6 months or gotten worse.

Think of it this way, once you replace everything in the truck at least it wont break down on you again for along time, at least until it rusts through

i have alot done to it...to much to list.....but no more truck stuff, i need to save for an operation.....my wisdom teeth are in, and its broken two of my molars, and they are comming through the gum (wisdom teeth already through the gum and root of old tooth) probably the worst pain ive had to deal with my entire life, and no dentist will see me unless i pay for the operation up front...which is stupid, im in pain and they dont care....

ok maybe more truck stuff....im going to do the timing chain soon, cuz i want my performance back...

And my power IS comming back...before, i couldnt roast tires on dry pavement, it would grip and go.....well today, testing it out, i hammered on it, and my tires lit right up...i love it, finally i got my power back...but cant wait to see what a new timing set will do.

I got a solution for your teeth, tie them to the trailer hitch and have someone step on the gas. Nothing like a 5.9 tooth pullin.

Honestly tho, how much is the operation ? Cant be that much to get the teeth pulled out. I would get that done before anything to the truck, as long as it runs for now.

Wisdom teeth are a few thousand dollars depending on how they come into your gums. Nowadays, they put you to sleep so that makes the operation even more expensive. I would say it costs anywhere from $2000-$3000. I think mine was $2500 when I got mine done two years ago.
