body lift

Default body lift

doing a body lift pretty soon. i have never done one, wanting to know how did it go any problems. ill be using a car lift in a friends shed. any advice appr. thanks

Just take your time. Disconnect the shift linkages for the trans and transfer case, look out for ground cables attached to the body that may need to be made longer, trim the fan shroud and the filler neck for the gas tank will need attention. I'm sure there's more, but I've slept since then.

Havnt done one myself but from what I have been told rushing is not good take your time and take it one side at a time. Be sure your have enough room to ground wires and such to give a lil if they need to. Other then that good luck
