Default Tsb 18-024-98

This is on a sticker on the underside of my hood. Also I have a sticker on the computer for upgrades which is over another sticker.

Does anyone know what this service bulletin was for since its not listed on the TSB sheet?

The sticker on my truck says 18-024-98.
Also I don't think it is factory death flash since the sticker is dated for 99 and my truck is a 97.
I do notice when I accelerate above 2000 I can hear a slight knock that picks up just a bit the more I accelerate.
My truck was just recently ran for codes and the only one to come up was p0301 or cylinder #1 misfire.
Looks like I may have to go to a dealer and have them look it up.

No matter what they flashed it for, the DF is part if it. And the pinging is because the plenum is blown.

And find a good shop to take it to, not the $tealership. They will do the same work (sometimes worse) than a good shop can do, and charge you more. Dealerships sometimes charge up to $100 for a simple trouble code reading, where as most shops will do that for free, for example.
