yeah ive seen ones for the PRE-99 Sports which are the same as the SLT headlights. The 99-01 1500/2500/3500 Sports and the 2002 2500/3500 Sports have 2 bulbs in EACH headlight. The regular HID set ups will NOT work in the SPORT trucks with the 4 bulb system. We tried installing them and they did NOT work properly.
Im sure someone with a 99-01 SPORT model Dodge Ram has had a kit installed that really works.

Im guessing it has do do with the dual filaments in the stock system. The HID set up was hooked up for the low beams but it seemingly kicked in all the headlights. From what I read so far you have to get the hi/low kit. Which lets you run high or lows in HID and then the other in the "normal" OEM bulbs.
The SLT trucks or the sport models to '98 its an easy deal. They just plug this and that in and your done.
yes I was thinking it was an easy deal of getting 1 kit for the low beams and if I liked them Id get another set for the high beams......and maybe even the foglights.
So it seems that the BI-Xenon high/low HID 9004/9007 kit is the one to buy. It will change either the high or low to HID and leave the other OEM.

Did you run a relay setup, or did you try and run off of the power from the factory wires, sounds like you got a wire mixed up and sent the whole thing haywire, kinda like puttin projectors on a non-sport.
A bi-xenon kit will still only be a one bulb setup, its made vehicles that dont have four bulbs, your setup is pretty straight forward and should be easier to do.

a relay deal didnt come with the kit. I hadnt a clue to any of this stuff before I bought the one thats doesnt work. Its now a kick in the teeth seeing I have a kit that doesnt work for the Sport Edition. I wish there was a play by play by someone on here. Id get a set for the fog lights also. They are VERY bright and really clear it up at night. The OEM "yellow" looks horrible after you try the HID's, lol
