shift kits?

Default shift kits?

ok so i decided to go with a shift kit to get whatever life out of my tranny possible...which kits are reccomended i want a firm shift and best performance without going full manual. as the girlfriend still drives every once in a while. i looked on summit and found these 2

Anyone know the difference. or is there any other kits i should look at? links and opinions appricated. i already have a deep derale pan and a 10" efan on my factory trans cooler...

Go with the cheap one. The expensive one has upgrades that require the tranny to be disassembled.

I'll sell a TCI shift kit for $50 shipped. Its brand new too.

Screw TransGo. For our rigs, if your main goal is to extend the life of the tranny and get a firmer shift, it's Sonnax sure cure kit or nothing. I love what it did for my tranny. It shifts smooth as silk.

Transgo kits are great, I wouldn't use anything else.

Hmmm... you're going to run laughing gas, right? If so you're going to want more than just a shift kit to stand up to the giggle shot.
