Default Air cleaner

Everybody here runs the 14x3. Is there a reason nobody runs the 10x2 or whatever the smaller one is? Or does size really matter lol?

I tried to put a 14x3 on today and for the life of me I couldn't get it to go on, so I just threw the smaller one I had laying around on.

I found it easier to take on and off if you zip tie the two wiring looms up to the main harness, gives you some more clearance. Taking the cowl weather stripping/hood seal off during installation also give you more room.

I may give that a try. The small one doesn't look bad though.

Also, are you sure you are installing the 14x3 correctly? You need to put the filter in the base of the air cleaner, then place the base with the filter in it, on the throttle body. Then screw in the S-Bolt, then put the air cleaner top on and tighten it down.

i had the 10x3 and the K&N cai and now the mopar round . the bigger round is def by far the best one. 10x3 was too small didnt bring in enough air for my truck.
