Default Need some help diagnosing problem

Hey guys,
Been a long time since I posted on here. Here it goes. I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 318 auto. Here is my problem. Probably should not have put a plow on there but I did. Truck structurally has held up extremely well. But, here is my problem. I put a Meyers plow on it. What happened is a while back one of the relays for the lights on the plow burned up and it screwed something up in the electronics of the truck. I took it to the Dodge Dealer and they fixed it in pretty quick fashion and if I remember it was not that pricey. But, this season it happened again. But at this time I don't have the money to take it to the dealer right now and would like to try and figure it out and fix it myself with your help. So, this is what it screws up on the truck that I know of. The drivers side headlight gets dim but pass. side is ok. The fuel gage when at a quarter tank or lower can sometimes out of the blue just go down to almost empty, although it has a quarter tank of fuel. And the worst thing is the tranny is shifting into gears at high rpm's. I cant say that it does it right when I take off with the truck, but I definitely notice it when it is up to temp. Sometimes goes beyond 3000 rpm before shifting. All the electric on the plow is disconnected from the truck. So does anyone have any suggestions. I tried the on, off thing to get the code to come up, but so far, have not gotten it to work, but going to try again. Open to suggestions.
Thanks
