Pictures of my new ride!
I finally have gotten around to getting some pictures of my new ride!
Its a 1998 2500 4x4 with a 5.9 gasser and auto transmission. Its the striped down ST model but does have factory carpet and A/C! Its got 164,000 and some change on the odometer and I picked it up off of Craigs List for $1500. I was pretty pleased with the price and in all its really in pretty good shape.
It has a few oil leaks I need to fix from the power steering gear box and the front seal on the transmission and it needs a tune up and replace the O2 sensors as it runs pretty rich right now. So far I have put a set of factory Mopar trailer tow mirrors which I love and put a CD player in. I have a seat cover coming to put over the factory vinyl seat.
I have never posted pictures on here before so hopefully this works out.
Jeff

don't need compliment's its a dodge, fix it or modify it your way until you feel proud of that. I had my DODGE for 10 years without mayor issues, I drive my blue DODGE everywhere to the mountains, the beach, around the town and most of the time to the work in unpaved roads at 70-80mph and still running strong better than my friends chevy's that spend the life in a garage.the only time my DODGE was towed, was to the impound yard (I feel sad when remember that ) please dont make conclusions
damn that is a good price! i cant even find a parts truck around here for that much! love the dana 60's
while your chasing down the oil leaks you might want to replace the plenum gasket.
theres a dozen threads and even a diy on how to do it.

it is nessecary....its a factory defect...sooner or later it will blow...no way around it....
look into the throttle body, if you see oil in the manifold, its 99.9% shot, or the pcv valve is pushing oil in the manifold....but the plenum WILL blow out eventually....
