Default Exhaust Kits

I need an exhaust system as I have nothing from the cat back to the rear.

I've gotten estimates from muffler shops and they are pretty expensive. What I would like to know is, has anyone bought an exhaust kit and it installed nicely? If so what do you recommend.

My truck is pretty much stock. I was looking at this kit.

That is the same system I have on my truck... I love it! It was really quite to start with so I was going to get the 40 series to take place of the 50 but the more I drove around the muffler got a nice deep tone to it. No drone in the cab, its really easy to install yourself. Nice part is you have the choice of going 45s out the side or straight back I think it looks and sounds better on 45s out the side.

If you choose to go cheap and just dump it I have a super 44 flowmaster for sale it was used for about 4 months

Nice. That makes me even happier. Hopefully I can get it and get it installed before the end of summer.

I chose the Pacesetter longtubes and Y-pipe. 3" all the way back. as far as cat-back, magnaflow and super 44. the cat was $100 (the high flow chrome one, Ill have to find the part number), muffler $70 (super 44) and 4' of pipe and a schoenfeld turnout- $37 (summit). Mine just dumps right before the rear axle. still only $200 and bolt together, awesome sound too.
