Default Kegger Mod Clarification...

So from the sounds of a few recently updated threads, completing the kegger mod is not ideal if you have any intent to tow, or use your truck off road???

Anyone ever try only removing the center divider rather than cutting all the runners, etc?

Mostly what I have read is the mid-high range is better without losing the torque down low, and the butt dyno is the measuring tool. that being said, no 2 mods are exactly the same, and no one has a real dyno to prove or disprove anything. cutting a bit off the runners to improve midrange should not hurt your towing, you tow at, what, 2500 RPM?

5.2 with B%G TUNE with bolt on's. With a 5.2 the cube's just are not there throws off the resonance of the intake. Another guy had a 5.9 filled with epoxy and made 230hp/290tq and no tune. Thats dyno proven 40 more hp to the wheels.

5.9 dak extruded honed and thermal coated intake.
