Kegger Mod Clarification...
So from the sounds of a few recently updated threads, completing the kegger mod is not ideal if you have any intent to tow, or use your truck off road???
Anyone ever try only removing the center divider rather than cutting all the runners, etc?

97+ manifolds dont have the divider, i am doing this mod right now, but i had the center egr divider and i cut it all out and grinded down the runners and smoothing everything i can and trying to make a bowl shape for the runners
Mostly what I have read is the mid-high range is better without losing the torque down low, and the butt dyno is the measuring tool. that being said, no 2 mods are exactly the same, and no one has a real dyno to prove or disprove anything. cutting a bit off the runners to improve midrange should not hurt your towing, you tow at, what, 2500 RPM?
