air filter question
Ok i have a 1996 dodge with the 360 and im wanting a new intake/ air filter. im to broke to buy a 250 dollar cold air or ram air intake, and was wondering if you can take one of those big round edelbrock air filters that go on the older carburated engines and if it will fit some how on a fuel injected motor? can anyone help out?
or if anyone has any good ideas on how to make your own "cold air" intake, thanks in advance

then I would check into the mopar performance round air cleaners. they look real nice and are a bit lower profile to fit better under the firewall lip. but I think you will still have to fabricate the "s" bolt. if you don't know what that is just search it here, the explanation will be better than I can provide.
The round carb style filters work fine as long as you get the one with the right size opening..our throttle bodies are made by holly and I think its the same size round lip as the old holly carbs.. Of course the $40 cold air kits from ebey work fine too....I've had both and running the CAI now for two years.(its mainly for looks).. Old school ones can be kinda loud when sucking air I've read but I never noticed.
