Suggestions for PowerProgrammers?
I have a 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 with the 5.9L 360 and am looking to invest in a powerprogrammer. One of the only ones i have found with good ratings and reviews has been the HyperTech Max Energy Econ. If anyone has used anything else with this model please help out.
Email hemifever@aol.com. His name is Sean, and he sells the SCT programmers for about $265, complete with tunes. These are the best money can buy for these trucks. For info on the tuner itself (and to see regular, non-special pricing), check out their website here.
There aren't quite as many tuner options for pre-1998/1999 trucks due to the transition from the older OBD (OnBoard Diagnostics) I computer system to the OBD II system. Started in the 1996 model year, and finished by the 1998/1999 model years.

Your search for the best programmer can end today. Jason is right. Hemifever SCT is hands down the most highly recommended. I can vouch for it. I had a Superchips programmer. It doesn't compare to the SCT.
