Default No dome lights

I have a 99 dodge ram 5.9 and I just recently installed a aftermarket cd player and now my dome lights dont work. Does the wire harness have anything to do with it, I wouldnt think so but just wierd that it quit workin after i installed radio. Any info would be great.

Had a similar problem. Bought my truck from a kid who just ripped his head unit out and apparently left some wires exposed. I didn't have a replacement for a while so they stayed that way. Apparently they short circuited and blew a fuse that made the dome lights go out. Can't remember the name of the fuse... it was a 3 letter acronym. But that fixed it for me.
