Default More misfire issues

I've been having alot of misfire issuse with my 96 1500 360ci. the plugs and the wires are brand new. the thing that confuses me is that it doesnt misfire constantly. some days it runs fine and other days it bucks an jumps and pops. ive heard from some people that it could be and intake manfold leak. if so, how do i go about fixing it? if not, what else could it be? any help would be great.

I've also noticed that the oil in my truck keeps getting lower. i heard about about the plenum gasket in a similar post that i made and that it can cause oil to be burnt and your engine to misfire.<---- any truth to this?

Plenum can cause the plugs to foul. Anytime you are burning oil you run that risk. Bad plenum gasket will cause high oil consumption if it is bad enough. As for your complete random misfires, what plugs are you using? Is it misfiring on any particular cylinder?

Edit: Is it misfiring under load or just any time?

1. i believe champion but im not sure.
2. i dont know how to find out what cylinder its misfiring in
3. it misfires very lightly when its not under load but when it is under load it gets much worse. it pops and stutters really loudly under load.
