Hey guys...so my brothers 98 SST Ram is having a problem. I threw it up on jack stands and pulled the diff cover. I found pieces of the bearing along with other metal shavings. I think the carrier and ring and pinion gears are still good though...So we are thinking we need a master rebuild kit..I figure now is the perfect time to do a full rebuild, so what would you guys do? Tru-trac, auburn lsd, detroit locker??? looking for some guidance and advice fellow dfers!

 

What does he normally do with his truck?

 

If it's a toy, Detroit Locker, if it's a daily driver, Auburn lsd.

How did you blow it up?
