Just bought a Hypertech power programmer for my 99 1500 with the 5.9 in it. I've never messed with programmers before so I wanted to see if anyone had any ideas as to what I should change in it to get the best performance out of my truck. Also I had bought the truck in California, but now live in Colorado so I didnt know if there was a way I could set it for higher altitudes. Any help would be great

 

I bought a hypertech programmer for my 5.2 2001 ram about a year ago, the truck is bone stock and sadly, the programmer didn't make any difference for me whatsoever. I have heard very good things on this forum about the SCT programmer though. Hope this helps
