would a 1.5" spacer definitely clear 33s if i had 17x8s with 4.5" bs?

i got a 1996 dodge 1500 2wd i want 33x12.5s what could i do to fit em with no rubbing would a 2.5 inch leveling kit give me the space i need with spacers?

I would go ahead with the leveling kit. It'll help with alittle more clearance and make the truck look better.

Truck is a strong word because we all know 4x2s can not be lifted or run more than a 27" tire.

Wow, this is an old thread. I got a 1.5" leveling kit and stock rims with 265s and theres definitely room for 285s aka 33x11.5, but you would probably need rims with about 4" or so of backspacing to keep a 12.5" wide tire from rubbing the control arms, and the extra inch over mine on a 2.5" leveling kit should help keep them from hitting anywhere else.

2x4's also can't be lifted mainly because they're a plank of wood.

For the record, my 2WD 76 D200 can haul more crap without squatting than your 4WD Hemi can. And I don't have a need for an invisible trailer.
