I'm in the process of fixing my truck and was wondering if I can take a non sport bumper from a 98 and put it on my 00 Sport with no mods?

I also would like to know if I could use the same 98 non sport drivers side fender on my 00 truck?

let me know as i'm about to buy some parts and need help. TIA guys!!!

 

The fender, I think, will be OK. However, the bumpers have different support brackets. If you take the non-sport bumper WITH all its brackets and bolts, it is possible. However, you'd also have to take the grille, as the grilles are slightly different. The sport grille hangs down a little further than the non-sport, and will interfere with the non-sport bumper.

Can anybody else give me a +1 on the 98 fender fitting without any modification?

 

The fender will fit no problem, no modifications. They are the same.

 

I have already seen these diagrams on LMC but I was wondering how much fitting you would need to do to get a 01 sport grille to mount on my 01 non sport. I'm getting a new grill insert anyway and I just like the sport grill better. I know the sport grill is taller and a little less wide I think than the non sport. If anyone could help me out I'd appreciate it. thanks

 

My Red 98 Ram 2500 was in a hit and run. I found 97 Sport front and rear bumpers....They will bolt right up once I paint em, allready have a grill painted...I hate chrome....LOL
