Thermostat?

I burped my coolent this winter because my heat never got really hot.
Didnt do much.

Been working on truck latley and noticed it is really warm.. Top radiator hose HOT really hot to touch.. bottom one temp of the outside.

Temp gauge in truck is normal.

Is my thermostat stuck/bad?

Sounds normal to me. Let's you know the radiator is doing it's job.

If the heater never really got hot then it sounds like the system needs to be backflushed.
