Default Throttle Cable

The throttle cable on my truck is very loose, i dont know how to adjust it or if it can be adjusted, but my gas pedal almost touches the floor and i cant press it down far enough to get very good aceleration, if any body knows how to fix it let me know.

My guess is that the cable has slipped off the secondary pivot point on the throttle lever. Looking from the passenger side the cable should pass thru the cable mount, pass under a black plastic covered pivot and then clip onto the ball-end post.

After leaving the mount the cable should have a slight v shape between it and the end of the throttle lever.
