I have a 97 ram with a 5.2 and was wondering if it's worth swapping the 5.2 for the 5.9 motor any thought would be appreciated

 

What would be the main purpose of that? What would you be using it for?

 

Not really.

 

I would consider it if my 5.2 died, but I'm not going to do it out of the blue. My reason would be for towing. But meh, the 5.2 I have does it fine for now.

I have to vote no unless there's a reason for the added torque.

 

I would vote no as well. I think when my 318 goes I'll do a 4BT swap. I only have 95,000 on my 98 so here's hoping it doesn't go anytime soon.
