We 2 world travellers currently in Peru have problems to get spare parts. or the official dealer ask fantasy prices. I. e for a set of brake pads 240 US Dollar. But if I go to a shop with alternative parts and give then the information of my dodge they can not find out which parts we have in our truck. But I am more or less sure that in other cars known in South America they have the same parts as in my dodge. So what I am looking for is a possibility to find a information as the pads of Dodge are i.e. the same then in a Toyota Land cruiser from 1999. Of course this is only a example.

As this can be helpful also for other parts. I.e. Filters may be there is one of you that can me give a information ho to find this information’s.
