Default Need major help with repairs

Hey whats up everyone. This is my first of many posts now that I found this forum. Ok so here is the deal I have a 1994 1500 2wd with the 318. The problems I am having are abundant. First and prolly the biggest is stalling. When I start the truck it idles really rocky and I usually turn the truck off and restart it and its a bit better. But it rumbles like its a deisel. Not really sure what the deal is with that but when I get to a stop light I have to keep on the gas while I am also on the brake so I don't stall. It really gets rocky and I am using alot more gas now. I don't want to go to a shop cause the truck isn't really worth all that much since it is kinda beat up but its all I have right now. I also found that every now and again my oil pressure gauge kinda dips off and the once I hit the gas it comes back to normal. But the little oil light comes on when the oil pressure dips. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Peace
Pete

PS one other problem. I also noticed that when I make a left turn on a slight incline there is a clunking noise coming from the rear end. It sounds like the tailgate is loose but its not and I am not sure what this might be. Thanks again

Try cleaning or replacing the IAS (idle air sensor) 70$ part at the dealer. In fact just clean all the sensors in the throttle body. Should be an easy fix

The oil pressure problem could be a dirty pickup tube, low oil, or bad rings depending on how bad it is. My dad bought a 94 5.2L that had the crap ran out of it. Oil pressure was bad, smoke real bad and used about 2 quarts of oil in a 100 miles, and the motor had a loud knock similar to the new quietier diesels. Unfortunately the motor had to be rebuilt. Don't want to scare you but it all depends on your problems.
