1st gear take forever to shft, around 3000 rpm give or take, going up a grade or passing someone it wants to drop 2 gears to 1st gear and will even redline itself.

Can start off slow and it will shift at 2200 rpm +\-

Other than that the tranny works fine....any thoughts?

 

What condition is your tranny fluid in?

Dark? Burnt smell?

Do you know if there is anything other than ATF+4 that was put in there recently?
