Default Fuel Sync with no voltage flucutation

I have a 1999 Dodge Ram, 1500, 2wd, 5.9L gas engine. I'm getting a P306 misfire in #6 jug. I've changed plugs, cap, rotor, wires and swapped everything from #6 to #8 to include injector. Still can't get rid of misfire. Checked upstream O2sensor, cat, MAP, TPS, IAT sensors and all seems to be in tolerance. I've read a couple of threads on how to do a fuel sync without a scanner. I tried it with a digitial and analoug meter and I get no fluctuation what so ever when I move the dizzy around. Here is what I did. Put #1 at TDC on compression stroke. Moved crank (clockwise from front of vehicle) to what I beleive to be 17.5 degrees past TDC. Problem is my damper only indexes to 10 degrees past TDC. So I measured prior to TDC index marks that goes to 30 degrees. I think I got a good measurement from that scale for 17.5 and marked damper past TDC. Put positive to tan/yellow wire of cam position sensor and negative to black/silver. Turned key on and got 5.17 dcv on digitial meter and a bit over 5 on my analoug. Loosened dizzy anchor bolt and moved dizzy as far left and right as I could and there was no change in voltage at all. Disconnected coil and cranked engine and still no change in voltage. I'm at a loss. My scanner did not pick up crank sensor error, just misfire in #6. I though by trying the fuel sync I should be able to get some fluxuation and get it near or at 0 by moving the dizzy. Am I missing something? Any thoughts on what to look for now. Thanks for the help in advance.

uhmmm... Did you check for compression in #6?

Start with the easy stuff. Cracked heads are common. As a result, so are burned valves.

There is no way to set fuel sync without a scanner. Doing it with a multimeter will, at best, be dumb luck.
